DECLARING FRIDAY, JUNE 24, 1977, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN MANILA.

WHEREAS, the City of Manila celebrates “Araw Ng Maynila” on June 24, 1977, marking its 407th foundation anniversary; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the residents of Manila, the official capital of the Republic of the Philippines, be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, June 24, 1977, as a special public holiday in the City of Manila.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
