EXTENDING THE FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE DR. JOSE P. RIZAL MEMORIAL FOUNDATION, INC.

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 1561 dated July 23, 1976 authorized the Dr. Jose P. Rizal Memorial Foundation, Inc. to conduct a fund campaign from August 1 to December 31, 1976; and

WHEREAS, the Dr. Jose P. Rizal Memorial Foundation, Inc. needs more time to realize its goal of raising funds for the construction of the Dr. Jose P. Rizal National Medical and Research Center;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Dr. Jose P. Rizal Memorial Foundation, Inc. to extend its fund campaign to the period up to July 31, 1977.

I call upon all private and government entities, instrumentalities and organizations, including the local, provincial and national governments, business and industrial and civic organizations, to give full support and assistance to this medical projects.
