[ Proclamation No. 1617, February 10, 1977 ]

CALLING THE BATASANG BAYAN TO A THIRD SESSION.

WHEREAS, the President needs the advice and assistance of the Batasang Bayan on certain urgent matters affecting the national interest;

NOW THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby call the Batasang Bayan to a special session commencing on the 14th day of February, 1977, to consider such resolutions as may be brought before it on the subjects aforementioned.

All persons entitled to sit as members of the Batasang Bayan are requested to take notice of this Proclamation.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
