[ Proclamation No. 1605, December 9, 1976 ]

CALLING THE BATASANG BAYAN TO A SECOND SESSION

WHEREAS, the President needs the advice and assistance of the Batasang Bayan on certain urgent political, economic and national security matters;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby call the Batasang Bayan to a second session commencing on the 17th day of December, 1976, to consider such resolutions as may be brought before it on the subjects aforementioned.

All persons entitled to sit as members of the Batasang Bayan are requested to take notice of this Proclamation.
