[ Proclamation No. 1600, November 30, 1976 ]

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 28 TO DECEMBER 4, 1976, AS MANAGEMENT CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK.

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the Government to promote management consciousness in both the public and private sectors to help achieve the development goals of the nation;

WHEREAS, management consciousness is essential to promote better business practices, increase production and improve public administration and services, which are vital prerequisites to regional economic development, social progress and stability; and

WHEREAS, the Philippine Council of Management is sponsoring their seventh Philippine Management Congress from December 2 to 4, 1976 which will be attended by management experts, practitioners, educators and students of development management from the Philippines and other Asean Countries;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from November 28 to December 4, 1976, as “Management Consciousness Week”.
