DECLARING THE MT. PALAYPALAY, MT. MATAAS NA GULOD AND VICINITIES SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF TERNATE AND MARAGONDON, PROVINCE OF CAVITE AND IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NASUGBU, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS, ISLAND OF LUZON AS A NATIONAL PARK, GAME REFUGE AND BIRD SANCTUARY.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Natural Resources and by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from settlement, entry, sale, lease, exploitation or other disposition, subject to private rights, if any there be, Mts. Palaypalay and Mataas na Gulod and vicinities situated in the municipalities of Ternate and Maragondon, province of Cavite and the municipality of Nasugbu, province of Batangas, island of Luzon, and declare the same as a National Park, Game Refuge and Bird Sanctuary for the benefit and enjoyment of the people of the Philippines, under the administration of the Bureau of Forest Development, which tract of land is more particularly described as follows:

Proposed Mt. Palaypalay and Mt. Mataas na Gulod National Park, Game Refuge and Bird Sanctuary Reservation.

A parcel of land (Proposed Mt. Palaypalay, Mt. Mataas na Gulod and vicinities situated in the Municipalities of Ternate and Maragondon, Province of Cavite and in the Municipality of Nasugbu, Province of Batangas, Island of Luzon).1aшphi1

Bounded on the N. by Palicpican Bay;on the S. and E. by the unclassified Public Forest (L. C. Map No. 2595) and on the W. by the unclassified Public Forest (L. C. Map No. 2595) and Manila Bay, along lines 5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13-14- 15-16-17-18-1 by Calumpang Point Naval Reservation (RS-04-000101). Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan being S. 80 deg. 40’W., 423.77 m. from BLLM No. 1, Psc-21.

The hunting, wounding, taking or killing within said territory of any wild animals or birds specified in Act Numbered TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED NINETY, as amended, and/or the destruction of any vegetation or any act causing disturbance to the habitat of the wildlife herein protected are hereby prohibited.
