[ Proclamation No. 1592, October 25, 1976 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, OCTOBER 25, 1976, AS “LIEUTENANT EDGAR FOZ DAY” IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DINGRAS, ILOCOS NORTE.

WHEREAS, Lt. Edgar Foz, a brave soldier of Dingras, Ilocos Norte, was a young man who gave his life in the line of duty for his country and people; and

WHEREAS, his heroic deeds in the fight against lawless elements of society are worthy of emulation by the nation’s youth and it is but fitting and proper to focus public attention on his exemplary life on the occasion of his birth anniversary on October 25, 1976;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, October 25, 1976, as “Lieutenant Edgar Foz Day” in Dingras, Ilocos Norte.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
