DECLARING THURSDAY, AUGUST 19, 1976, AS A SPECIAL HOLIDAY IN QUEZON CITY.

WHEREAS, Thursday, August 19, 1976, marks the birth anniversary of the late President Manuel L. Quezon, one of the foremost leaders and statesmen the country ever produced;

WHEREAS, the residents of Quezon City desire to celebrate his birthday with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Thursday, August 19, 1976, as a special public holiday in Quezon City.1aшphi1
