[ Proclamation No. 1569, August 12, 1976 ]

DECLARING MONDAY, AUGUST 16, 1976, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN PASAY CITY.

WHEREAS, the City of Pasay celebrates the sixteenth day of August as “Araw ng Pasay” marking the foundation of the City twenty-nine years ago; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the residents of Pasay City be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Monday, August 16, 1976, as a special public holiday in Pasay City.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
