[ Proclamation No. 1563, July 28, 1976 ]

AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE CONSTITUTION ASSOCIATION (PHILCONSA) TO CONDUCT A NATIONWIDE EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN DURING THE PERIOD FROM JUNE 17, 1976 TO JANUARY 17, 1977.

WHEREAS, the PHILCONSA is launching an information and educational drive on the meaning and objective of the preservation of the Constitution, the expressions of the sovereign will of the Filipino people;

WHEREAS, the PHILCONSA is also embarking on other projects such as the conduct of research and studies on the dynamics of transition and shift to the parliamentary system of government, the construction of a PHILCONSA building, the establishment of a PHILCONSA Educational Foundation, PHILCONSA program for the preservation of the integrity of the Philippine sovereignty, the regionalization of the PHILCONSA and other worthy projects relevant or necessary for a fruitful PHILCONSA year; and

WHEREAS, the PHILCONSA needs public support to enable it to accomplish its projects;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorized the Philippine Constitution Association to conduct an educational and fund drive from June 17, 1976 to January 17, 1977.

I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines to participate actively and give generously of their means in this laudable undertaking.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
