[ Proclamation No. 1559, July 12, 1976 ]

EXCLUDING FROM THE OPERATION OF PROCLAMATION NO. 88, SERIES OF 1936, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE MILITARY RESERVATION SITUATED IN THE CITY OF LEGASPI, ISLAND OF LUZON, A CERTAIN PORTION OF LAND EMBRACED THEREIN, AND RESERVING THE SAME FOR REGIONAL EQUIPMENT DEPOT SITE PURPOSES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HIGHWAYS.

Upon recommendation of the Secretary of Natural Resources and pursuant to the authority vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby exclude from the operation of Proclamation No. 88, series of 1936, which established the military reservation situated in the City of Legaspi, Island of Luzon, a certain portion of land embraced therein, and reserve the same for regional equipment depot site purposes under the administration of the Secretary of Public Highways, subject to private rights, if any there be, and to future survey, which portion is more particularly described as follows:

A PARCEL OF LAND Lot 5519-A-1, bounded on the SW., along line 1-2 by the Bicol University site (Lot 19167) on the NW., along line 2-3 by Lot 5519-A-2 on the NE., along line 3-1 by Lots Nos. 509, 796, 803, 807 and 808, beginning at the point marked “1” on the attached sketch plan being N. 77 deg. 35 min. E., 882.78 m. from B.B.M. No. 1, Legaspi Cadastre;

A parcel of land Lot No. 5519-A-2, bounded on the SE., along line 1-2 by Lot 5519-A-1; on the SW., along line 2-3 by the Bicol University site (Lot 19167); on the NW., along line -34 by the Proposed Terminal; on the NE., along lines 4-5-6 by the Access Road; and on the East, along line 6-1 by the Proposed Access Road beginning at the point marked “1” on the attached sketch plan being N. 55 deg. 54’E., 1,006.70 m. from B.B.M. No. 1, Legaspi Cadastre;

thence N. 41 deg. 05’W., 60.00 m. to point 3;
thence N. 55 deg. 18’E., 147.10 m. to point 4;

Containing an area of TWENTY TWO THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED SIXTY ONE (22,461.00) SQUARE METERS, more or less.
