DECLARING THE ELEVENTH DAY OF JULY OF EVERY YEAR AS GENERAL PIO DEL PILAR DAY.

WHEREAS, the eleventh day of July marks the birth anniversary of the late General Pio del Pilar of Makati, Rizal, one of the outstanding heroes in our country’s struggle for freedom and democracy;

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to give due recognition to the outstanding services of the late General Pio del Pilar that the present and future generations may emulate his exemplary life;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the eleventh day July of every year as General Pio del Pilar Day.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
