DECLARING THURSDAY, JULY 1, 1976, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN SOUTHERN LEYTE.

WHEREAS, Thursday, July 1, 1976, marks the foundation anniversary of the province of Southern Leyte;

WHEREAS, the people of Southern Leyte desire to celebrate this milestone in the history of their province;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare July 1, 1976, as a special public holiday in Southern Leyte.
