[ Proclamation No. 1521, December 11, 1975 ]

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM DECEMBER 11 TO 17, 1975, AS SAVINGS AND LOAN WEEK.

WHEREAS, it is desirable to focus attention on the increasing role and involvement of the savings and loan industry towards the mobilization of domestic voluntary savings for development purposes; and

WHEREAS, the Philippine League of Savings and Loan Associations will hold its 9th annual national convention from December 11 to14, 1975, in Baguio City;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from December 11 to 17, 1975, as Savings and Loan Week. I enjoin all public and private offices and institutions to encourage their personnel to put up and patronize savings and loan associations for short-term capital needs.1aшphi1
