[ Proclamation No. 1515, October 24, 1975 ]

AUTHORIZING THE U.P. SOCIETY OF PARAPROFESSIONALS FOR SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, INC. TO CONDUCT ITS FIRST GENERAL EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN THROUGHOUT THE PHILIPPINES FROM NOVEMBER 1, 1975 TO OCTOBER 31, 1976, AND ENJOINING THE GENERAL PUBLIC TO SUPPORT THE CAMPAIGN.

WHEREAS, the task of social development demands continuous awareness of and sensitivity to the social situation;

WHEREAS, there are a great number of people and institutions involved in one way or another in the various aspects of social development;

WHEREAS, the rapidity of social change demands frequent assessment of the changes or progress in social work and community development;

WHEREAS, in the light of new knowledge and current events, there are only a few institutions conducting continuing education for social development in the country; and

WHEREAS, the UP Society of Paraprofessionals for Social Development aims, among other things, to promote, enhance and uphold the ideals of social development through continuing education and other corollary or support activities and projects;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ROBERTO V. REYES, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the UP Society of Paraprofessionals for Social Development, Inc. to conduct its 1975 general educational, membership and fund campaign during the period from November 1, 1975 to October 31, 1976, throughout the Philippines.1aшphi1 I hereby enjoin the general public to extend assistance to said Organization wherever and whenever possible, in this worthy and laudable undertaking.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
