DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 20 TO 25, 1975, AS UNITED NATIONS WEEK

WHEREAS, the Chamber of International Trade shall observe United Nations Week by a week-long program of activities which center around the theme: “The Role of Women in the Promotion of International Peace and Trade Development;” and

WHEREAS, there is a need to draw the attention and interest of businessmen as well as the general public on the increasing importance of the role that women must play in international trade and goodwill among nations;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ROBERTO V. REYES, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from October 20 to 25, 1975, as United Nations Week under the auspices of the Chamber of International Trade and other involved organizations.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
