AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE MUSICIANS ASSOCIATION TO CONDUCT A NATIONWIDE MEMBERSHIP AND FUND DRIVE DURING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 16 TO DECEMBER 31, 1975
WHEREAS, music is one of the various fields of arts through which the ideals, history and culture of a nation are expressed and glorified;
WHEREAS, music as an effective medium of communication, should inspire the out-pouring of the finer qualities of men so as to become an instrument of cultural and social development of a nation;
WHEREAS, the Philippine Musicians Association (PHILMA) is a group of Filipino musicians who banded together for a common goal of promoting the welfare of those who dedicate their lives to this noble field of art; and
WHEREAS, the Association needs the support of the public to carry out its laudable objectives;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Philippine Musicians Association to conduct a nationwide membership and fund drive during the period from October 16 to December 31, 1975. I hereby call upon all citizens and residents to assist in this humanitarian endeavor by giving generously of their means.1aшphi1
