[ Proclamation No. 1495, September 9, 1975 ]

DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 11, 1975, AS A SPECIAL BARANGAY DAY.

WHEREAS, the country celebrates Barangay Day on Thursday, September 11, 1975;

WHEREAS, barangay members should be given full opportunity to participate in barangay affairs;

WHEREAS, it is desirable that the coverage of this proclamation be extended to all citizens of the country in view of the significance of the occasion.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Thursday, September 11, 1975, as a special barangay day and enjoined all citizens of the country both public and private to render civic action work during their off-hours.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
