MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 1483, August 22, 1975 ] EXTENDING THE NATIONAL EDUCATION MEMBERSHIPS AND FUND DRIVE FROM AUGUST 1, 1975 TO DECEMBER 31, 1975 OF THE WRESTLING ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES. WHEREAS, the organization needs additional time to conduct its campaign in order to attain its goal of financing the hosting of the First Asian Youth Championships and several forthcoming international sports events. WHEREAS, the WAP has a standing commitment to host the First Asian Youth Wrestling Championships slated from November 26 to December 2, 1975 in the City of Tagaytay in Cavite. WHEREAS, the (FILA) Federation Internationale de Lutte the world controlling body composed by ninety eight countries has officially sanctioned the holding in the Philippines of this precedent-setting Asian Youth Championships. NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Wrestling Association of the Philippines to conduct a national, educational, memberships and fund drive from August 1, 19 75 to December 31, 1975.1aшphi1 IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
