AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE GERIATRICS ORGANIZATION, INC. TO CONDUCT A NATIONWIDE FUND CAMPAIGN DURING THE PERIOD FROM AUGUST 20, 1975 TO JANUARY 20, 1976.

WHEREAS, the Philippine Geriatrics Organization, Inc. (PGOI) is a charitable, non-stock and non-profit organization dedicated to the upliftment of the old and aging members of our society;

WHEREAS, the organization is undertaking multifarious projects and activities designed to improve the health and well-being of its members to enable them to spend the remaining years of their lives in happier and more useful ways;

WHEREAS, the organization is constructing its own geriatrics building to house its members and its clinical apparatus and devices; and

WHEREAS, the organization needs the support of the public to carry on its laudable objectives;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Philippine Geriatrics Organization, Inc. to conduct a nationwide fund campaign during the period from August 20, 1975 to January 20, 1976.
