DECLARING TUESDAY, AUGUST 19, 1975, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN QUEZON CITY.

WHEREAS, Tuesday, August 19, 1975, marks the 97th birthday anniversary of the late President Manuel L. Quezon, one of the foremost leaders and statesmen the country ever produced;

WHEREAS, the residents of Quezon City desire to celebrate his birthday with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Tuesday, August 19, 1975, as a special public holiday in Quezon City.
