DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 21 TO 28, 1975, AS ENTREPRENEUR WEEK

WHEREAS, the Commission on Small and Medium Industries and the Philippine Jaycees have jointly launched the search for the Twelve Outstanding Entrepreneurs of the Philippines (TOEP) to give recognition to Filipinos who, through their entrepreneurial spirit, drive and hardwork, have established productive enterprises that have redounded to the benefit and well-being of our society; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to focus public attention to the achievement and contribution of the entrepreneurs in the country’s economic development and progress;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from September 21 to 28, 1975, as Entrepreneur Week under the auspices of the Commission on Small and Medium Industries and the Philippine Jaycees.
