[ Proclamation No. 1471, July 31, 1975 ]

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM AUGUST 1 TO AUGUST 7, 1975, AS NATIONAL ELECTRIFICATION WEEK

WHEREAS, it is the declared national policy of the government to foster the electrification program of the entire country; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting to focus public attention on the accomplishments of the government towards electrification;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO. MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from August 1 to August 7, 1975, as National Electrification Week under the auspices of the National Electrification Administration and other involved entities and organizations.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
