DECLARING JUNE 1974 TO JUNE 1975 AS JUSTICE NORBERTO ROMUALDEZ, SR. CENTENNIAL YEAR.
WHEREAS, June 5, 1975, marks the birth centenary of the late Norberto Romualdez, Sr., statesman, parliamentarian, jurist and popularly known as one of the famous “Seven Wise Men” of the 1935 Constitutional Convention; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to focus public attention to his distinguished and brilliant career which has contributed greatly to the well-being and progress of this country;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from June 1974 to June 1975, as Justice Norberto Romualdez, Sr. Centennial Year.
