DECLARING MAY 16, 1975, AS “MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANCY DAY”

WHEREAS, the National Association of Accountants, Philippine International chapter, is hosting the First Asia Pacific Basin Zonal Conference on management accounting to be held in Manila on May 15-17, 1975; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to give importance and focus attention on the vital role played by management accounting in the field of business management and in the general economy of a nation as well;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare May 16, 1975 as “Management Accountancy Day” under the auspices of the National Association of Accountants.
