[ Proclamation No. 1405, March 24, 1975 ]

AUTHORIZING THE AMATEUR BOXING ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES TO CONDUCT A NATIONWIDE FUND DRIVE DURING THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 15 TO MAY 31, 1975.

WHEREAS, the Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines, with the assistance of the Sports Development Foundation of the Philippines, is hosting the 3rd Asian Youth Amateur Boxing Championship in Manila on May 26 to 31, 1975, in line with the government’s sports and youth development program; and

WHEREAS, to make the event a success, the Association needs the support of the public;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines to conduct a nationwide fund drive during the period from March 15 to May 31, 1975.
