[ Proclamation No. 1403, March 24, 1975 ]

FURTHER EXTENDING THE FUND CAMPAIGN PERIOD OF THE CONSUMERS UNION OF THE PHILIPPINES UP TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1975.

WHEREAS, under Proclamation No. 1238 and extended by Proclamation No. 1345, the Consumers Union of the Philippines was authorized to conduct a national membership, consumers protection and educational fund campaign during the period from October 31, 1974 to March 31, 1975; and

WHEREAS, the Consumers Union of the Philippines, which is dedicated to safeguard and protect the interests of consumers, and to educate and inform the consuming public, as well as make the common man-the ultimate consumer-the focus of all benefits under our restructuring society, needs more time for its campaign;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby extend the national membership, consumers protection and educational fund campaign period of the Consumers Union of the Philippines up to September 30, 1975.
