[ Proclamation No. 1392, February 20, 1975 ]

DECLARING FEBRUARY 26, 27 AND 28, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAYS.

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 1366-A authorizes the holding of a referendum on February 27, 1975 on certain vital issues affecting the national interest; and

WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary to give our people the full opportunity to participate in the said referendum;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers in me vested by law, do hereby declare February 26, 27 and 28, 1975 as special public holidays.

I hereby call upon all qualified citizens to exercise their right to vote on the issues to be presented to them on referendum day, February 27, 1975.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
