DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JANUARY 27 TO FEBRUARY 2, 1975, AS “GRADUATE EDUCATION WEEK”.

WHEREAS, the New Society envisions change and progress in all areas of human endeavor;

WHEREAS, change and progress are functions of basic and applied research;

WHEREAS, graduate education is the fountain-head of all kinds of research that make for political, social, economic, and spiritual change and progress;

WHEREAS, it is desirable to focus attention at least a week each year on the prime importance of graduate education in effecting change and progress;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ROBERTO V. REYES, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from January 27 to February 2, 1975, as “GRADUATE EDUCATION WEEK” under the auspices of the Philippine Association for Graduate Education.
