DECLARING FRIDAY, DECEMBER 27, 1974, AS JUAN SUMULONG DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF RIZAL.

WHEREAS, Friday, December 27, 1974, marks the birth centenary of Juan Sumulong, an illustrious man, nationalist, patriot, jurist, writer, and statesman; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable to recall his outstanding contribution to the development of the Philippines as a nation;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Friday, December 27, 1974, as JUAN SUMULONG DAY in the Province of Rizal.
