DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 18 TO 25, 1974, AS “HORSE RACING INDUSTRY WEEK”

WHEREAS, the Philippines, through the Philippine Racing Club, Inc., will host the 12th Asian Racing Conference from November 18 to 25, 1974; and

WHEREAS, there is necessity to focus public attention on the role of the horse racing industry in contributing to the various civic and charitable programs through sweepstakes and horse races;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from November 18 to 25, 1974, as “Horse Racing Industry Week” under the auspices of the Philippine Racing Club, Inc. and the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office.1aшphi1
