[ Proclamation No. 1346, November 4, 1974 ]

RECOGNIZING THE CONTINUOUS CONTRIBUTION OF THE SEARCH EXECUTIVE BOARD THROUGH THE MANILA’S OUTSTANDING COEDS IN THE TASK OF NATION-BUILDING; AND AUTHORIZING THE BOARD TO UNDERTAKE A SIX-MONTH FUND RAISING CAMPAIGN AND MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

WHEREAS, a group of concerned young citizens have banded themselves and formed the Search Executive Board in response to the government’s call for unity and active participation of sectors of society;

WHEREAS, the Search Executive Board, through the Manila’s Outstanding Coeds activities and projects, will promote government policies on Green Revolution, domestic tourism, civic action, goodwill and social concern; community development;

WHEREAS, in carrying out these projects and activities, goodwill and close cooperation among all the sectors of the community have been achieved, especially strengthening the bonds between the Government, the community and the youth;

WHEREAS, the Search Executive Board of the Manila’s Outstanding Coeds is planning to implement more projects extending from the barangay and barrio level to a nationwide scale;

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the New Society to encourage and assist activities by and for the youth devoted to the strengthening of the bonds between the government and the people;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Manila’s Outstanding Coeds through the Search Executive Board to undertake a nation-wide fund raising campaign during the six-month period from December 1974 to May 1975.1aшphi1
