DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM DECEMBER 9 TO 15, 1974, AS GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES’ WEEK

WHEREAS, there are legions of unsung heroes in the service of the government whose existence remain unnoticed; and

WHEREAS, the public must be made to realize the existence of these loyal and efficient state workers;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ROBERTO V. REYES, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from December 9 to 15, 1974, as Government Employees’ Week. I call upon all citizens to give a thought to the dedicated, honest and hardworking government employee in grateful appreciation for his services. The Week should be devoted to maximizing service efficiency and the promotion of better relations between the public and the government employee.1aшphi1
