DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 20 TO 26, 1974, AS “BROADCAST WEEK”

WHEREAS, the Kapisanan Ng Mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas will celebrate its 50th year of broadcasting this month; and

WHEREAS, there is necessity to focus public attention on the important role the Association plays in radio broadcasting service in times of national emergencies, disasters and calamities, and in promoting and fostering friendly international relations;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ROBERTO V. REYES, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from October 20 to 26, 1974, as “Broadcast Week” under the auspices of the Kapisanan Ng Mg Brodkaster sa Pilipinas and other broadcasting associations.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
