DECLARING THE FOURTH WEEK OF OCTOBER OF EVERY YEAR AS INTERNAL AUDITORS’ WEEK

WHEREAS, Internal Auditors, by reason of the vantage position they occupy in the field of business, finance and industry, have contributed to the progress of industry and the national economy; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable that the important role played by Internal Auditors in the development of the national economy be brought to the attention of the people;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ROBERTO V. REYES, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from October 20 to 26, 1974, and the fourth week of October, of every year thereafter, as Internal Auditors’ Week under the auspices of the Institute of Internal Auditors, Manila Chapter.1aшphi1
