DECLARING NOVEMBER 26, 1974, AS “LIBERATION DAY” OF ISABELA, NEGROS OCCIDENTAL

WHEREAS, November 26, 1974, marks the anniversary of the liberation of Isabela, Negros Occidental, from the Imperial Japanese forces thirty years ago; and

WHEREAS, the Veterans Federation of the Philippines, 3rd District Negros Occidental, Isabela Branch, wish to commemorate the occasion in honor of the unknown heroes who died side by side with the Allied Forces;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ROBERTO V. REYES, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare November 26, 1974, as “Liberation Day” of Isabela, Negros Occidental.1aшphi1
