DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM DECEMBER 8 TO 14, 1974, AS NATIONAL HANDICAPPED WEEK

WHEREAS, the Philippine Foundation For The Rehabilitation Of Disabled, Inc., will hold a Conference on the Rehabilitation of the Disabled on December 12, 13 and 14, 1974, in Manila; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable to awaken increased government and public interest in the economic and social uplift of the handicapped and disabled;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from December 8 to 14, 1974, as National Handicapped Week under the auspices of involved organizations.
