DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 18 TO 24, 1974, AS NATIONAL PRINTING WEEK

WHEREAS, printing is the primary tool and means whereby the Government, through its various entities, can reach and communicate with the citizenry; and

WHEREAS, communication is a vital function in educating the people and involving them in the national effort to build a more just and democratic social order;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from November 18 to 24, 1974, as National Printing Week under the joint auspices of the Printing Industries Association of the Philippines, the Greater Manila Printing Industries Association and the Filipino Printers Association.
