DECLARING TUESDAY, JULY 23, 1974, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN BATANGAS PROVINCE, BATANGAS CITY AND LIPA CITY

WHEREAS, Tuesday, July 23, 1974, marks the 110th birthday of Apolinario Mabini, the Sublime Paralytic, whose ideals and principles in life are now the nation’s treasured legacy; and

WHEREAS, the people of his province should be given the opportunity to celebrate his birth anniversary with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Tuesday, July 23, 1974, as a special public holiday in Batangas province, Batangas City and Lipa City.1aшphi1
