[ Proclamation No. 1286, July 11, 1974 ]

DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM AUGUST 1 TO 7, 1974, AS NATIONAL ELECTRIFICATION WEEK

WHEREAS, it is the declared national policy of the government to foster the electrification program of the entire country; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting to focus public attention on the accomplishments of the government towards electrification;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from August 1 to 7, 1974, as National Electrification Week under the auspices of the National Electrification Administration and other involved entities and organizations.
