[ Proclamation No. 1250, April 1, 1974 ]

WHEREAS, the promotion of the physical and mental well-being of our people and their development into good and useful citizens and enlightened leaders of our country is the vital concern of society and all efforts should be exerted in that direction;

WHEREAS, civic projects for the development of the latent capabilities of our youth and the provision of proper facilities for such development should be encouraged;

WHEREAS, physique culture is the underlying basis of all sports activities and makes for a healthy and contended citizenry;

WHEREAS, the PHYSIQUE CULTURE ASSOCIATION OF THE PHILIPPINES, INC. has its objectives geared to this ends;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Physique Culture Association of the Philippines, Inc., to conduct an educational, membership and fund campaign from March 31, 1974 to March 30, 1975. I enjoin all government officials and employees, private entities, citizens and other nationals to support this laudable movement.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
