DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 24 TO 30, 1974, AS INDUSTRIAL MEDICINE WEEK.

WHEREAS, industrial medicine plays a vital role in the New Society by protecting the health and promoting the well-being of industrial workers and employees and thus enable them to participate in the fruits of production; and

WHEREAS, the Industrial Medical Association of the Philippines (IMAP), has been formed to maximize the benefits of medical care among industrial workers and employees;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from March 24 to 30, 1974 as “Industrial Medicine Week” under the auspices of the Industrial Medical Association of the Philippines and other involved entities or organizations.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
