DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 25 TO 31, 1974, AS FEDERATION OF FILIPINO-CHINESE CHAMBERS OF COMMERCE WEEK

WHEREAS, in order to strengthen and solidify the enduring ties of amity and understanding between the Filipino and Chinese peoples, it Is necessary that they be allowed an opportunity to reflect and ponder on such understanding;

WHEREAS, in view of the undying effort of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce to support the policies, projects and programs of the Government under the New Society and its abiding concern for the welfare of the Filipino community, it is but fitting that it should be given a period within which to focus public attention to the role being played by the federation in national development;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare the period from March 25 to 31, 1974, as Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce Week.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
