[ Proclamation No. 1242, March 6, 1974 ]

DESIGNATING JULY 1 TO DECEMBER 31, 1974, AS THE PERIOD FOR THE NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES.

WHEREAS, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines merits the continued moral encouragement and support of our people in its program of character building and citizenship training among the youth;

WHEREAS, the involvement of more youth and adults in the Scouting Movement for a better tomorrow requires the sustained and continuous support of every citizen; and

WHEREAS, the yearly fund campaign of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines will once again afford us the opportunity of supporting each e worthy cause;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby designate July 1 to December 31, 1974, as the period for the Boy Scouts of the Philippines Annual Fund Campaign. I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines to assist in this campaign and to give it their unstinted support in order that it may be able to continue with its youth citizenship training program.
