DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 2 TO 8, 1973, AS NATIONAL NEXT-DOOR NEIGHBOR WEEK.

WHEREAS, with the advent of the New Society, the need for communal efforts in social development and for involvement with one’s fellowmen in achieving the New Society’s goals has been stressed and become paramount;

WHEREAS, the formation of the Barangays has shown the benefits and advantages of neighbors acting together in maintaining sanitation and cleanliness in our communities, which proves that when neighbors care and get involved, things can be done to benefit all quickly and successfully;
