DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JULY 30 TO AUGUST 5, 1973, AS CIVIL ENGINEERING WEEK.

WHEREAS, the Engineering Profession has contributed a lot to the progress of modern civilization;

WHEREAS, the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines celebrates the twelfth anniversary of its founding during the period from July 30 to August 5, 1973; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus public attention on the important role the civil engineers play in the development of our country;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by Order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from July 30 to August 5, 1973, as Civil Engineering Week, under the auspices of the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines and the Board of Civil Engineering.1aшphi1
