DECLARING SATURDAY, JULY 28, 1973, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY.
WHEREAS, the period of voting in the referendum set for July 27, 1973, has been extended to July 28, 1973, under Presidential Decree No. 254 dated July 24, 1973, and
WHEREAS, there is a necessity to give the people the fullest opportunity to express their views on the issues to be presented to them in the referendum;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Saturday, July 28, 1973, as a special public holiday.1aшphi1
