[ Proclamation No. 1145, May 18, 1973 ]

FURTHER EXTENDING THE NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE PANAMIN FOUNDATION, INC., UNTIL DECEMBER 11, 1973.

WHEREAS, to enable PANAMIN to carry on its laudable ized under Proclamation No. 517 dated February 11, 1909, to conduct a national educational and fund campaign from March 1, 1969 to February 28, 1970, extended under Proclamation No. 807 dated February 2, 1971, and further extended under Proclamation No. 1002 dated November 15, 1972, for the purpose of raising much-needed funds with which to carry on its various humanitarian projects for the benefit of our national minorities who comprise more than twelve per cent of our national population;

WHEREAS, the PANAMIN Foundation finds itself way behind its goal of ₱2 million; and

WHEREAS, to enable PANAMIN to carry on its laudable activities, it is necessary that its fund campaign be extended for another period;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby extend the national educational fund drive of the PANAMIN Foundation, Inc., until December 31, 1973. I call upon all citizens and residents of the Philippines, irrespective of nationality, race or creed, to assist in this humanitarian endeavor by giving generously of their means. I further call upon all national, provincial, city, and municipal government officials, as well as on all school teachers and students throughout the land, to actively participate in and support this meritorious fund campaign.1aшphi1
