DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM MAY 21 TO 27, 1973, AS GOVERNMENT SUPPLY MANAGEMENT CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK

WHEREAS, efficient supply management in the Government as a vital factor in promoting and achieving progress and development;

WHEREAS, the country owes a great deal to those dedicated servants who guard and watch the assets of the Government with honesty and integrity; and

WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper to call the attention of the public to the importance of efficient supply management in the administration of government;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from May 21 to 27, 1973, as Government Supply Management Consciousness Week under the auspices of the Government Supply Officers Association of the Philippines, Inc.
