CALLING A NATIONAL CONFERENCE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF EMPLOYERS AND OF LABOR ORGANIZATIONS FROM APRIL 26 TO 28, 1973

Pursuant to Section 20 of Republic Act No. 875 and upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Labor, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby call a national tri-partite conference of representatives of employers, of labor organizations and of the government under the auspices of the Department of Labor and the National Manpower and Youth Council, from April 26 to 28, 1973, in the City of Manila, for the consideration and adoption of voluntary codes of principles in regard to labor-management relations designed to promote the goals and objectives of the New Society, especially employment promotion.

In view of the significance of the occasion, which is the first of its kind to be held under the New Society, the cooperation of government agencies and officials as well as all sectors of the nation concerned is hereby enjoined.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
